thunderstorms are awesome i've recently decided. this time last week people at my b'day party were sitting out on the balcony watching a storm on the horizon. tonite, a week later, the storm returns. i'm sitting here in the dark with my blind opened right up, lightning out in the sky. the window left open an inch so i can hear the rain and thunder. the cars driving by outside on wet road.. awesome.
i was gonna start reading this book caroline gave me for my b'day tonite, "guide to the occult and mysticism". i started reading about palmistry but the storm distracted me.
i've been listening to some of glen's cds tonite and this afternoon. he moved them in last night before we went to q+a. he's moving the rest of his stuff in tomorrow sometime. fuck, writing this sounds too familiar. i'm pretty confident this is gonna work out well tho. ummyeah so i got dido happening at the moment. it's nice.
yeah q+a was good again last nite. i really am getting to know a lot of different people there. last night i met someone new again, a guy i'd been chatting to since i discovered gaydar. the one that's a finished artist and living near here. he was pretty kool, i spent maybe an hour even talking to him and his friend. hey i even danced a bit last nite when the strokes came on. lol actually it was to "last nite". muahaha.
i played chess with monika on yahoo games before. after a while she told me she was gonna hafta go cuz her little bro was bugging her to watch simpsons with him. i'm not sure if she was just sick of me taking so long in my turns tho. heh. she was almost gonna win tho anyway. i think i am improving tho. i like monika heaps.
tomorrow night i think i'm going to karaoke with caroline and some others.
